From Ohio, moved to south Ga, my ex’s hometown, when we married and I got pregnant with Caroline. Then we had our second sweet girl, Dacie Claire. He displayed narc behaviors and became abusive leaving me no choice but to take them and leave. I teach kindergarten and never endangered their lives. My ex became angry and embarrassed when a neighbor became interested in me after our divorce. His family is extremely wealthy and has a name to uphold in this town. He played victim, then hero. February 23rd, 2018 he had the girls and I followed leaving the movie theatre by men taking pictures. I knew if I got upset and scared they my girls would be in turn. I came to a stop sign at a well lit intersection and got out of the vehicle to get a tag number with witnesses while my 13 yr old remained in the car on the phone with 911. Long story short, DFCS worker requested to meet with me two days later in a gas station parking lot at 7:30pm, never alluding to me doing anything wrong. The next day my ex sends me a screen shot of an safety plan and keeps my girls staying i endangered their lives. A month later in court, The judge called a recess, I went to compose myself and got a drink, went back in and they had already called my case... in three or four mins. They said since I wasn’t physically in the courtroom that was me pleading no contest... he won 100%custody and HE is able to decide my supervised visits AND I have $500 per month child support.

A friend attended a workshop you presented this week. She called me on her way home to share what she had learned. My ex-husband is alienating our children. I have had very little contact with my oldest over the last year (just a few hours). I still have 50% custody of my youngest, but the relationship is strained by the lies she has been told about me. I have been falsely accused of abuse while my children have been encouraged to be physically aggressive with me. I know you understand the dynamics of parental alienation all too well.

I can't even begin to explain what my husband has gone with with his ex-wife and children. She has turned each child against their dad one by one. We spent over $40,000 last year defending ourselves. They've been divorced for years and she wanted the divorce but will not let up. It is horrific.

My ex alienated my daughter , over the past 2 years she has not been with me and before the lockdown he “expedited his moving plans” and moved with her across the country 3000 miles away to Ithaca ny. Then he turned around and accused me of abusing her in court . Haven't had Visitation of my 2 daughters (4&5) in 18 months. Mom would not show up for exchanges. Was able to visit at school during lunch. Mom would check them out while we were there. Since covid I haven't physicaly seen them since March. Judge cancelled court date and says just to have zoom meetings for now until new court date is given. During zoom visitation mom has TV on very loud in room or gives the kids tablets to play with so they are distracted the entire time and can't hear or talk because there is so much noise. Daughters have said they don't have to talk because their mom said they can play instead. Their mother never lets me say goodbye. Just shuts the video off. She tells the girls that I am mean and rude. She makes them feel guilty for even saying they want to spend time with me. Tells them she loves them and will miss them too much if they leave. Girls are now too afraid to speak about anything related to coming over or wanting to spend time together. They just ignore the conversation and change the subject. I am hoping that a court date will be set soon and all of this will be slightly better once I am able to see my girls again.

My husband's ex-wife has been after him for years. He has 5 children with her (ages 11-19). We have been married 5 years. His anger over all of this has been horrible detrimental to our marriage and to my mental and emotional well being. I'm not sure I can do it anymore. My dad and step mom had Guardianship over my 4 children. A few weeks ago they claimed that my oldest son (14) molested my oldest daughter (9) and kicked my son out to my house for 1 day I was in heaven felt like the world was turning around and this was my chance to get all my kids home. Then I get a phone call from my biological mommy and my husband and I are being accused of molesting our 4 children, selling them for sex too grey money for drugs, and allowing our 14 yo to molest the younger children. We are now not allowed to have contact with our children except the 14yo and I'm completely lost. Their have been no charges no investigation no nothing to prove we're guilty of doing this (which were aren't). I'm completely lost and don't know what to do. I've started contacting state agencies to try to get help but no luck yet. Please pray for my family I hope one day my children will get what they truly deserve and what they want which is their father and I. They have told many people they want us and want to see us but are told we are abusive or don't want them.

Hi! My husband and I recently have been faced with alienation from my children with my ex husband. I never in a million years thought this would happen. We had to move away for a year and a half and the kids chose to stay with their bio dad. During that time, we had regular, positive visits. We found out this summer we were moving back home and that's when this started. My ex "reminded" the kids I left them, convinced them that I couldn't be trusted chih resulted in my kids telling me they didn't want to see me. My ex has shared adult information and our adult issues with the kids, and my oldest(16 years old) called me to request I sign over sole custody to my ex! I have little recourse legally as the courts here will listen to what the kids want even though their views have been distorted by their dad. I have always been close to my kids and this is breaking me. My husband doesn't understand either as he has been in their lives for 10 years. I am reading and researching as much as possible, but it doesn't take away the pain that I may never see my kids again and all the special moments.

I’ve been alienated from my two teenage sons for 19 months. Their dad forced me from our home and has brainwashed the children that I abandoned them. It’s absolutely not true. I’ve tried solicitors, social services, the boys’ school, family friends, family. I pray every day as do my church friends. Parental alienation is child abuse. It’s abhorrent and I pray for my boys to be protected abs see the truth.

My husband actively started alienating me when he could see I was pulling away from him. but also his own mental illness sees anyone with conflict how he sees his father's abuse of him. I scared he will sever the ties forever. I am afraid for my daughter who refuses to talk/see/communicate with me and has stable cancer.
