Please help us through this difficult time. We are struggling with so much disappointment. We were hoping to get 50/50 but didn’t get anything we asked for while the mother got more child support (dating back to Marc 2022 - so I am behind), I now have to also pay half extras activities and she will be able to take my time away from 3p thanksgiving to 3p Friday every other year. (Which isn’t usually my weekend so I won’t even see my son that week and will for almost two weeks without seeing him during that time. No make up was giving. My husband and I live paycheck to paycheck. So this is going to make things worse as she will know get $5000 back pay plus an extra 240 a month. My job is on the line because my company is having difficulties and I refused the shot which makes me limited in my field as to who will employ me. I honestly don’t know what more to do and could really use some prayers for things to change. Truly the one who will suffer the worst is the kid because now we will have less money to do things with him and provide what he needs.
Just to give you insight- the mother makes twice as much as my husband and has taken 3 over seas trips - one being Dubai with her mother in which she pays for since her mother doesn’t work and isn’t a citizen in this country.
We feel devastated as this was our last chance to fight for equality in parenting. We have spent close to 50k over 7 years and can’t keep paying a broken system. Also, please pray that someday my husband’s oldest sees the truth as he has been alienated against us since January and refuses to see or talk to his father. He has blocked him on his phone so he can’t even send messages
