I have been alienated from my now 16-year-old son for over 3 years. His father refuses to let him see or talk to me, his brother, grandparents, or any family member. He has ignored all court orders and nobody will help. He has told my son that family isn’t important. I’ve seen one picture of my son in 3 years. I’ve cried myself to sleep every night since the day my son was illegally taken over 3 years ago. I am losing all hope. My son would never ever “choose” this as his father claims. I have been blocked on all social media as well as phone. My mother was extremely close to her grandson, and that has been destroyed. She is in her 70’s and her health is failing. I fear she will never see or talk to her grandson again. I also fear how it will affect my son if she passes away. I know that he loves his grandma so much, but he is 2000 miles away with zero family support system other than his father. I cannot comprehend how anyone can treat their child’s other parent this way. I am completely broken and don’t know where to turn. Please pray for me and my son. Thank you and I love you.
